I am not a "professional dog trainer". I am a person who has taught myself over the years how to train my own dogs. I have read many books on the subject and training styles and methods vary widely. I am a believer in the positive reinforcement and strong leadership methods of training. I like to establish myself as a leader to my dogs from day one. A leader is not a bully! Nobody respects a bully especially dogs. True leadership is what creates an unbreakable bond between dogs and their human pack leaders.
